A service keeps your car reliable, safe and worth more when you sell it — but it shouldn’t cost you a day off work. We bring the full service to your driveway or workplace car park and carry it out to the manufacturer’s schedule.

Whether your car is due an interim service (typically every 6,000 miles or six months) or a full service (every 12,000 miles or annually), we use the correct grade of oil and quality filters, and we record everything so your service history stays intact — including on cars still under manufacturer warranty.

You get the completed checklist and an honest heads-up on anything that will need attention soon, so there are no surprises down the line.

A warning light doesn’t always mean something serious — but ignoring it can turn a small fix into an expensive one. We come to you with the same level of diagnostic equipment a main dealer uses, read the stored fault codes and study the live data to find the real cause, not just the symptom.

From the engine management light (EML) to ABS, airbag, glow-plug and emissions warnings, we’ll tell you exactly what’s going on, what it will take to put right, and how urgent it is. The diagnostic fee is credited against the repair if you decide to go ahead — so you’re never paying twice.

Grinding, squealing or a soft pedal are all signs your brakes need attention — and brakes are the one job you don’t want to put off. We replace pads, discs and calipers at your home or work using quality parts matched to your car.

Every brake job finishes with the wheels torqued to the correct specification and a short road test to make sure everything is bedded in and pulling up straight. If your brake fluid is overdue, we’ll test its moisture content and change it where needed, because old fluid can boil and fade exactly when you need the brakes most.

We’ll always show you the worn parts we’ve taken off, so you can see why the work was needed.

A flat battery always seems to strike at the worst moment. Before we replace anything, we test the battery’s condition and check that the alternator and charging system are actually doing their job — sometimes the battery is fine and the real fault is elsewhere.

If it does need replacing, we carry quality batteries to suit most cars and fit them there and then. Modern vehicles with stop-start technology need the correct AGM or EFB battery and a battery registration (coding) so the charging system treats it properly — we do that as standard, which a lot of cheaper fitters skip.

We keep your car’s memory alive during the swap so your radio, settings and steering-angle sensor don’t reset, and we take the old battery away to be recycled.

Nobody likes the gamble of booking an MOT and hoping. We inspect your car against the same standards an MOT tester uses and tell you, in advance, exactly what would pass and what wouldn’t — then fix anything that needs doing so the test is a formality.

The MOT test itself has to be carried out at an approved test centre, so we can’t issue the certificate at the kerbside. What we can do is catch the common failure points early — worn brakes, blown bulbs, tired suspension, perished wipers and emissions issues — and put them right at your home or work, often for less than a garage would charge.

It’s the calm, no-stress way to keep your car road-legal.

Air conditioning loses around 10% of its gas every year, so even a healthy system gets weaker over time. If yours is blowing warm, slow to cool or smells musty, a re-gas and service usually brings it straight back to life — and a working system demists your windows far faster in winter too.

We cover both the older R134a refrigerant and the newer R1234yf systems fitted to most cars from 2017 onwards. After evacuating and recharging the system to the correct weight, we vacuum-test it for leaks so the gas actually stays in. An optional anti-bacterial cleanse clears out the musty smell that builds up in the vents.
